Point of Grace Storm Recovery Update

God promises  “Do not fear - for I am with you”   we know this to be true as we work to recover from the storm like we have never seen in Kisumu.   God was surely with the school during this storm as no person was injured and we know that all material things are replaceable.  

Thank you for the many prayers and donations of support.  Much work is being done daily to get everything fixed and returning to normal, however we have a long way to go.   The children all returned to school the week after the storm and classes are going well amidst all of the damage and repairs.  

Glass is being replaced and about 60% done,  iron sheets for roofs have been repaired on dorms and classroom but many buildings still need replacement.  There has been no work done at the farm, clinic or on the fence or gutters at this time.  

Thankfully the chickens have started laying eggs again and are at about 25% capacity for feeding the children and soon will be producing enough that we can start selling eggs again to help with income for feed.
