What In The World Is Going On at POG?

Dear SPONSORS:  How exciting to be sharing with you all the amazing, wonderful and exciting things happening at Point of Grace!  Before I get into the specifics, I would like to tell you a little about the three of us who went on this trip.  

Michelle — is a board member of 4KenyasKids and a member at Grace Lutheran Church  in Nashua, NH.  Michelle is also the head of World Missions at Grace.  Her first trip to Point of Grace was on a mission trip in 2023 with her church.  This was her second trip.  Michelle is a retired Special Education teacher and is excited about the future of adding a “special needs program” at Point of Grace.   

Whitney — is a nurse and has visited Point of Grace multiple times with the Mercy Medical Mission Teams.  Whitney is a member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Ennis, Montana and also very active with the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League.  She and her husband and two children  visited Point of Grace as a family in 2023.   
 
I am Cheryl — a board member of 4kenyasKids since 2011, and currently the treasurer and child sponsorship coordinator.  I have been to Point of Grace many times since 2009 and have witnessed and can affirm all the growth, improvements and successes at the school through the mission work of Pastor and Lorna Meeker, and the support and prayers of so many. 

Our goals for this trip: 
#1 — Bring back updated photos and letters for sponsors.   
#2 — Collaborate on how to organize trips with interested parties that are not part of a “specific church” mission team  
#3 — Work together for the betterment of achieving of the overall goals 

It was a very successful trip – accomplishing what we hoped to and more — and now bringing home news to be shared with you!
