From Advent to Pentecost has gone so fast. Lest we never forget the life, death, and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to the nonsense of this world. All efforts would be for nothing. We love the hands of mercy that show otherwise:
Jim and Cheryl Brockmann spent three months tirelessly working on projects and loving the children with a Christ-like love, which they will never forget.
Scarlet Holcombe led a Christ centered medical team to care for the poor and needy of our community.
We were blessed to have Carolyn Fraher with us for three months; loving and caring for our kids with all her heart!
Rev. Tim Chase of Grace Lutheran Church, Dodge Center, MN led a team that blessed the children and community beyond words! Jesus truly graced us through their hands of mercy.
Rev. Gary Clark and Rev. Joe Atwater from St. John, Eagle Point, Oregon visited Point of Grace. Joe has a love for the poor and needy and has visited Kenya multiple times. Joe was a great person to accompany Gary, who shared his musical skills, which the children loved.
Our Shepherd, Avon Indiana graced us with the youngest team; as Pastor Lepley, his wife and four children were here three weeks and another six adult church members joined them the last two weeks. The love of Christ shined so bright as they reached out to the children and community in many ways. We give all praise, honor, and glory to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ now and forever more. Amen!
Yours in Christ, Rev. Dennis and Deaconess Lorna Meeker
